Missouri Department of Conservation

In our Fourth Grade class a little while ago we made bird feeders. There were two types of bird feeders, pine cone and gallon. Now I'll tell you how to make the pine cone bird feeders. First, get any pine cone. Second, get a jar of peanut butter and a spoon. Third, on the wrong side of the spoon spread the peanut butter on the pine cone. Fourth, roll the pine cone in teh birdseed. Last, hang it up with a string. ~Ethan P.

Jump Rope for Heart

It was really fun at Jump Rope for Heart because we got to play a lot of games like double dutch, hot peppers, and a lot of other fun games. I know everybody had so much fun because I had a lot of fun! ~ Justin

Missouri Day

Our class went to Missouri Day at Mary Linn. We visited a Native American station that I thought was awesome. We visited a Civil War station also. We got to see someone weaving. We got to do outside activities with war games for kids. We got to make Missouri cookies and got to taste soy donuts. It would blow your mind it was so awesome.

Kindergarten Pumpkin Project

We had the honor of assisting Kindergarten with their pumpkin project. We helped with measuring many different elements of their pumpkins and completing their booklets describing, and comparing their pumpkins. It was a great day of pumpkin exploration!
